Our Ministries

We offer a large number of opportunities across all age groups 3 and up to get involved and learn about Jesus, the hope that we have in Him, and our ongoing relationship that we engage in as His disciples on Sunday mornings!

Sunday School classes meet from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM each Sunday. We invite you to grab some coffee and join us as we explore the Bible and learn to apply it to our lives.

The mission of our Youth Ministry at Louisa Baptist Church is to train up disciples of Jesus who are confident in their faith and prepared to step out into the world to become disciple-makers. We seek to make disciples who make disciples because that is what Christ has called us to be and do!

Our youth gather for Sunday School from 9:45 to 10:45 AM, on Wednesdays following the dismissal of school to 7:45 PM, and during events, scheduled activities, and camps.

Our children's ministry aims to introduce students to Jesus and to equip them with the basic skills and disciplines that will help them grow in their relationships with Christ while having a ton of fun in the process!

​

Our children also gather for Sunday School from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. We offer nursery for our second service, which is held from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM. On Wednesday nights, our children's program meets from 6:15 to 7:45 PM.

"Louisa Cares" describes Louisa Baptist Church's effort to reach and impact its community with the good news of Christ through acts of service. 

​

While it started as a one day event each year to send out multiple teams in our community, "Louisa Cares" has become a year round solution for us to engage those in our community who have needs that we can meet.

​

This ministry seeks to serve the members of our congregation who are Young at Heart! This group schedules events throughout the year to offer this part of our congregation fellowship and the opportunity to invest in friendships as they continue to be pointed to Christ!

Whether its gathering at church for an activity, going out to enjoy a meal together, or taking a special trip to see a play or museum, Young at Heart is always a fun experience!

During the school year, on Wednesday nights, following dinner, we invite you to join Pastor Richard Sandberg as he leads Bible studies to edify, teach, and challenge adults at LBC! Join us for a fun and educational discussion as we continue to grow together in Christ!

Bible studies are held on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM.
